Posting in the Netherlands: introduction notification rules – clarification for passenger transport

As from 1 March 2020, the Netherlands introduces an electronic notification system for employers whose drivers are temporarily posted in the Netherlands.

Note that a 6 months grace period has been confirmed before the effective enforcement of the new regulation.

Note that passenger transport by road is exempted from these rules.

The Dutch ministry of Social Affairs and Employment launched a special website where all necessary information can be downloaded: www.postedworkers.nl. The website is also available in English and German.
