TURKEY: NCTS phase 5 transition process in Turkey and recommendations related to the use of TIR\n
According to information obtained by TOBB, the NCTS Phase 5 transition process initiated by the Turkish Customs Organization continues, and technical problems and delays are encountered in customs procedures for transit declaration conducted under the CommonTransit Convention.
On the contrary, there are no delays or problems with the transport carried out with TIR carnet.
Transport companies are therefore recommended to use the TIR card to avoid potential delays and technical problems.
