SERBIA: MANDATORY TAG DEVICE REGISTRATION ON THE BELGRADE BYPASS AND PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE

According to an announcement published by Putevi Srbije, the Public Enterprise for Roads of Serbia, a penalty policy will be introduced as of 1 July 2026 for non-compliance with the toll payment requirements applicable to Category IV vehicles on the Belgrade Bypass.
The Serbian authorities have stated that the only accepted method of toll payment on the Belgrade Bypass is through a TAG device registered on the Toll4All platform.
Pursuant to Article 198, Paragraph 13 of the Law on Fees for the Use of Public Goods, Category IV vehicles are required to use TAG devices for toll payment. Failure to comply may result in the following fines:
Members operating through Serbia are strongly advised to verify that their TAG devices are properly registered on the Toll4All platform and to complete any necessary procedures before 1 July 2026 in order to avoid penalties.
