FRANCE - Loi Macron - A1 form obligation as of 1 April 2017

As of 1 April 2017 it is obligatory for all drivers (and other mobile personnel) in the scope of Loi Macron to hold the A1 form when being posted to the French territory. This document basically proves that social security contributions are paid in the Member State of residence (or any other) and is issued by the social security authority of that Member State.

The A1 form should be kept on board of the vehicle or presented later to the control authorities via the company representative in France or by the subject ordering the transport, if requested.
