TIR-EPD Green Lanes at Dilicu Customs Border Gate Turkey

IRU Member Association TOBB informs about a letter received from the General Directorate of Customs on the functioning of TIR-EPD Green Lanes in Turkey (please see attached). Further to the first TIR-EPD Green Lanes set up in Kapikule on November 2012, the Customs administration of the border crossing post Dilucu between Turkey and Azerbaijan has been also featured with a TIR-EPD Green Lane as a result of a modernisation project carried out by TOBB's affiliated company GTI.

Please inform your hauliers that TIR-EPD Green Lanes at Dilicu Customs Border Gate are available in one entry direction and one exit direction platforms, which are marked by signs and signboards "TIR-EPD Green Lane / Fast Track Lane".

Following a successful example of a private-public partneship established between TOBB, GTI and Customs in the framework of border crossing modernisation, we encourage you to work with your Customs authorities and the companies engaged in border crossing construction projects in order to pursue the implementation of TIR-EPD Green Lanes in your countries.
