announcement about protests at the border of Bogorodica-Evzoni on 26.03.21

"We inform you that tomorrow, March 26, 2021. (Friday) starting at 4 pm, a protest of the road transporters from North Macedonia is scheduled due to the continuation of the restrictive measures introduced by the Greek government. AMERIT, always on the side of the transporters, after the large number of requests for holding a protest, observed all the legal measures for reporting a protest. The protest will last from 4 to 8 pm, a warning protest to change the decision of the Greek government. At the same time, future measures will be agreed, if our demands are not met, jointly and with the support of the Greek Association of Transporters OFAE.

The three priorities we are protesting against are:

- 24/7 working hours of Evzoni; -

- Opening full or part time of Dojrani and Medzitlija and

- Measuring the temperature of the drivers, and a test only if there are symptoms for that.

The transporters with their vehicles will be in front of the Bogorodica border crossing, with dignity and with strict observance of the protection measures from Covid-19 to fight together for free flow of goods and humane treatment of our drivers! "
