France: demonstrations of French farmers - road blockage – update

Farmers announced their will to block Paris, large logistics platforms (Rungis, Roissy and Orly) and large provincial cities.

In addition, a taxi protest movement is expected to worsen traffic difficulties in Paris and the regions.

A major security system is put in place to protect Paris, to prohibit protesters’ access to city centers in the regions, to protect airports and the Rungis market in particular. As far as Paris is concerned, the highways will be closed at 12:00, approximately 30 - 50 km from Paris and diversion routes will be put in place.
