France-Italy: full closure of the Mont-Blanc tunnel postponed

Initially scheduled to start on Monday, 4 September, the full closure of the Mont Blanc tunnel for 15 weeks has been postponed due to the closure of the Fréjus tunnel to heavy goods vehicles.

The Mont Blanc Tunnel will remain open for the time necessary for the safe reopening to traffic of the A43 and the Fréjus tunnel to heavy goods vehicles. The time is estimated under 8 days, if the technical and climatic conditions allow it.
