Α new Ordinance of the Council of Ministers took effect that introduces MANDATORY PCR tests for everyone, vaccinated or not, entering Poland from outside Schengen area (i.e. Ukraine, Belarus, Russia (Kaliningrad). The test must be no older than 24 hours. A 14-day quarantine is required for everyone who would not present the test.
Today a new ordinance has been published, and is amending the regulation establishing restrictions put in place to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
One of the provision establishes that drivers performing international transport, who are crossing the external borders of the European Union upon entry to Poland, are now exempt from the obligation to present a negative SARS-Cov-2 test.
The above provision came into force upon its publication.
