ANNOUNCEMENT
It is announced that, according to a decision of the Ioannina Police Directorate, for special safety reasons and in particular the avoidance of causing traffic problems, the prevention of traffic accidents and the service of citizens, due to the occurrence of adverse weather phenomena (snowfall), a temporary ban on the circulation of all types of heavy vehicles, with a maximum permitted weight over 3.5 tons, from km 72.900 (Pamvotida Interchange, before the Drosochori tolls) to km 120.800 (Panagia Interchange) of the "Egnatia Odos" motorway in both directions.
Road assistance vehicles, snowplows and trucks transporting salt and emergency vehicles are exempt from the above ban.
