Driving restrictions in the Tyrol - important clarification

Pursuant to article 14(2) of the Austrian Air Pollution Control Act (Immissionsschutzgesetz-Luft (IG-L), and following consultations with the Tyrolean authorities, it has been confirmed that both monovalent CNG and LNG trucks are exempted from all time and place restrictions under the IG-L Act, as well as the equivalent time and place restrictions provided for in the sectoral driving ban, the Euroclass driving bans and the night driving ban.

 PLEASE NOTE: This exemption does not extend to any truck driving bans based upon the Road Traffic Act (Straßenverkehrsordnung (StVO)).
