Cabotage restrictions for buses and coaches in Denmark

As of 1 November 2019, cabotage operations with foreign registered buses and coaches on the Danish territory will be limited to 7 consecutive days per calendar month.

This limitation does not concern local excursions in Denmark in the framework of international occasional services, where foreign registered vehicles enter Denmark with a group of passengers and travel through Denmark for an undefined period of time with this same group of passengers.

Illegal cabotage (more than 7 consecutive days per calendar month) will be subject to fines amounting to 35,000 DKK (approx. 4,700 €).
